All five tracks are statement pieces in their own right and we’re not surprised to see these five tracks being used as part of the first EP in this project. The five-track EP, titled “The Blckout”, sees XVR BLCK collaborate with some of the UK’s best rising black talent, Ryan De La Cruz, SNE, Nicolas Alexander, 1ZerO, Gimme2Minutes, and Rashaan B. With a string of upcoming releases lined up for the year, XVR BLCK’s passion for music and collaborative spirit continue to drive his journey towards musical excellence. With his ongoing “BLCKOut” project, set to unfold over the next 12 months, XVR BLCK aims to showcase the immense talent within UK R&B and propel it onto the international stage. Recognized by respected tastemakers including BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, KISS FM, Spotify, and Apple Music, XVR BLCK is on a mission to bring UK R&B to global recognition. Growing up surrounded by the sounds of iconic producers like Timbaland, DarkChild, Jermaine Dupri, and Kaytranada, XVR BLCK found inspiration to craft his own unique sound. XVR BLCK, is a talented producer hailing from Hackney, East London, who has emerged as a rising star in the music industry. The release of this five-track EP acts as the follow-up to XVR BLCK’s collaboration with Mark Asari on the single “U-Turn”. 1 of his three EP projects that he is set to release over the next 12 months with the intention to give British Black music the spotlight. > Your Username and Profile Picture sometimes won't load/display properly, this usually occurs when you restart the Wallpaper too many times.Shining a light on the incredible and sensational British Black music in the world is XVR BLCK with the release of his new EP “The Blckout”. > Graphical Glitches on systems with Integrated Graphics > To use the playback controls you must have Spotify Premium. > The settings menu can be accessed by clicking on your profile picture! > When you start the wallpaper, a browser window will come up asking you to sign in to your Spotify account and grant access to it - once you do this, you'll be all set. This wallpaper also features a Spectrum and other audio-visual effects that can all be customised in the settings menu. Spotify Wallpaper is a Unity Application that utilises JoshLmao's Spotify4Unity plugin (which itself uses the Spotify Web API) to get the current track that you are playing on Spotify to display its album art and other information right on your desktop. This version is not actively maintained and I strongly recommend everyone to use the new version, it has more features and better performance.
