You can, of course, say "fuck them", but looking at things pragmatically, it will affect the sales. If DA:D will begin its advertising campaign and we will begin to see the news about "first transgender companion", a huge chunk of players will turn their backs on the game and unless it's really, really, REALLY an incredible gaming experience, they won't be convinced to buy it. Imo, DA:I was a game that appealed largely to female players and gaming is still dominated by male players.
